I have not just been lying around and lazily enjoying hot summer days here in our desert-Au contraire! I went to Bellevue Washington to visit my daughter and her husband and most importantly, to see her graduate from Dental Hygiene School. It' safe to say that we were very proud. Such a great daughter! Of course, I feel rather biased about my 5 children, but they are the very best thing in my life! I love them all and their cute little spouses! Yay for families!
Anyway, I digress-this is to be about quilting, so here we go--I haven't sewn anything for 3 weeks!!! My fingers are itching and my sewing machine is staring me down saying get up here and make something out of all this fabric you lazy good for nothin'....but my sewing room is in disarray. I cannot work in here so my plan for the next little bit is to get it in order and repaint it white...if the painting doesn't happen i wont cry because that would involve a LOT of work getting things moved out, and I do want to sew sometime this summer! So wish me luck, i will still post some pictures here and there maybe even a before and after of my sewing room. In then meantime, here is a picture of the Irish chain Miriam wanted for herself. I cant understand why i chose these colors because frankly I really really don't like the gray green in the chain, but hey Miriam loves it so she gets the quilt!
Suzanne I love Miriams quilt!! Have a great time reorganizing your sewing room!!
